| 1b. Make It Dynamic Revisited |
UNeedAPart's original website
was built using PERL and MySQL. It suffered from three
major problems:
- It was difficult to add features
- Most of the site was static and required many hours to update
- The original developer was inaccessible
We rebuilt the site using PHP & MySQL, adding 70% more dynamic
functionality than there previously was. The result is a dynamic
database-driven website that is completely controllable by UNeedAPart
personnel.
